Drew

Naturopath & Postpartum Doula

My work is rooted in traditional medicine: Western Herbal Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the accumulated wisdom of cultures who have long understood that healing happens in relationship: with plants, with food, with community, with the rhythms of the natural world. I trained as a naturopath, but my understanding of health was shaped by my observations of nature as deeply interdependent, connected and in service of the most vital expression of health. It comes from a deep respect for nature's intelligence and a conviction that we are most vital when we live in alignment with it.

Food is at the heart of everything I do in my naturopathic work and as a postpartum doula. Food is medicine, yes, but it is also love, ritual, and belonging. There is healing in a well-cooked meal, in eating with the seasons, in the simple act of preparing something nourishing for someone you care for. This sits alongside a deep belief that real security comes from connection to people, plants and place. I am drawn to rewilding, earth skills, and models of community care that understand when Mothers are well, we are all well.

If you have found your way here, I imagine you are someone who senses there is another way. A slower, richer, more considered way of tending to yourself and the people you love. More than anything, I want the women who work with me to leave feeling deeply nourished and resourced to continue on this journey in their wild and wonderful life. I would be honoured to walk some of that path with you.

Japanese Acupuncture

In a time where disconnection from nature and self seems increasingly common, I am passionate about returning to the roots of medicine. The way I practice is deeply centred in reverence for traditional wisdom and the body's innate intelligence to heal. I am particularly drawn to Elemental Theory and the way it mirrors the rhythms of nature within the human body.

After completing my acupuncture degree, I found myself wanting more. I felt like there was a pivotal part to the medicine that was missing. To me, acupuncture works not only on the physical body but also on the energetic and spiritual layers of our being. I wanted to learn from practitioners who still honoured the deeper roots of this medicine. This led me to Japanese acupuncture, where I fell in love with the philosophy, and the emphasis on intuition, prevention, presence, sensitivity and working with the body's subtle energy. In 2025, I travelled to Japan to learn from master acupuncturist Masakazu Ikeda Sensei, deepening my understanding of classical techniques and lineage-based practice.

I have undertaken specialised training in Traditional Women's Medicine. This includes Yin-Yang theory, Qi, Blood, and Jing, moxibustion, the nature of women's health and blood physiology, and reproductive medicine across the full continuum from preconception through to postpartum.

My passion lies in supporting people through all stages of life, holding space for both the physical and the more subtle aspects of healing.
